Sources first

Every cost, law, permit rule, funding amount and eligibility statement on this site comes from a source we opened ourselves. We prefer primary sources: Florida Statutes, the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation, county building and elevator offices, FEMA, Medicare.gov and CMS, the Department of Veterans Affairs, Florida's Agency for Health Care Administration and Department of Elder Affairs, and the IRS. Each page lists its sources with the date we opened them.

How we label cost figures

Most published installed prices are national, not Florida-only. We say so on every table. When a figure comes from a company that sells the product, such as a manufacturer's own Miami price list, we label it as a seller's figure and never present it as an independent average.

Dates

Every guide shows a "Last updated" date. When a figure or rule changes, we update the page and the date.

What we do not publish

We do not publish customer quotes, star ratings, invented case studies, years-in-business claims or project photos presented as our work. We do not tell readers they qualify for a programme; only the programme can decide that.

Images

The photographs on this site are AI-generated illustrations of the kinds of lifts we describe. They are not photos of our installations, our customers or our team, and we label in-page images as illustrations.

Medical, legal and financial topics

Our guides are general information only, not medical, legal or financial advice. For decisions about health and safety, speak to a doctor or occupational therapist. For tax and benefits, speak to a tax professional or the programme itself.

Local detail, not templates

Area pages carry information specific to that area, such as who issues permits, the hurricane zone and the local Aging and Disability Resource Center. If we have nothing useful to add for an area, we do not publish a page for it.
