About Florida Home Mobility

Who we are

Florida Home Mobility is a First Class Contractors company. We help Florida families add a home elevator, stair lift or platform lift, from the first conversation to the final safety check. We work across Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties, Tampa Bay (Hillsborough and Pinellas) and Naples (Collier County), and our guides cover the whole state.

Who we help

Often it is an adult son or daughter arranging a lift for a parent, sometimes from another city. Sometimes it is a couple planning ahead, a care manager or an occupational therapist working with a client. We write for all of them in plain language, and we never assume we know more about a person's needs than they do.

How we work

1. You tell us about the home. Use the contact form or the form on any service page.
2. A free visit to measure. An experienced local installer visits, measures the stairs or the space, checks power and structure, and listens to the rider.
3. A written quote. Model, price, timeline and permit plan, in writing. No obligation.
4. Installation and handover. The installer fits and tests the lift, then shows the rider and family every safety feature.

Florida's elevator law does not cover lifts and elevators inside private homes, so there is no single state licence that applies to every home installer. We encourage every customer to ask for the installer's state registration if it holds one, proof of insurance and the local permit plan, and we publish a checklist of questions to ask.

How we write and check information

Every cost, rule and programme amount on this site comes from a source we opened ourselves, listed on the page with the date we checked it. Read our editorial policy for the details. Our guides are general information only, not medical, legal or financial advice.
